Venkatesh and Maheshbabu played the heroes and Anjali and Samanta palyed heroines in 'Sitamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' directed by Srikant Addala and produced by Dil Raju on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film was released on Friday and received a huge applause from the audiences.

On this occasion, Dil Raju held a success meet. Speaking on the occasion, Dil Raju says, I am in a big tension as to how the audiences receive the film, especially with two big heroes? I feared about the fans of the heroes too, as to how they receive. In this backdrop, I got heavy phone calls from the fans saying, that they did not see the heroes but only their characters. They praised me for bringing out such a good film especially during Sankranti season, where all the family members join together and celebrate the festival.

Of course, I made several hit films. Making a film and bagging a hit is not new to me. But this time, my eyes have become wet for the kind of compliments I am receiving. The first half attracted the youth and the second half attracted the family audiences. The film would get more revenue and collections day by day.

As the audio and film both are hit, we are planning to celebrate the platinum disc function in Hyderabad soon. We have plans to screen the film with exclusive shows for ladies on January 14, 15 and 16. The Censor Board members too gave us the clean 'U' certificate in just one hour without any cuts. We thank the audiences for making the film a big hit.
