Nag's six-packs avatar in a Damarukam scene is now eagerly awaited by his fans. Talking more about it, Nag has said that the part was shot in November, 2011 when he had built a strong body for his role in Rajanna.

"It helped me a lot. I just had to exercise a bit more to make the packs more obvious. For that matter, I usually have packs on my body. I had them even when I was shooting for Sri Ramadasu. They were camouflaged by make-up. In Damarukam, Chota K Naidu's camera made them look even better," he avers.

Saying that Damarukam has no similarity to the subject of Amish Tripati's novel, The Immortals of Meluha', Nag says that he liked the novel. "Making a film inspired by that novel will cost hundreds of crores. I made it clear to Tripati in a letter that my film had nothing to do with his novel. I hear that Karan Johar has got the rights."
