Meher Ramesh's Shadow is arguably the most promising Sankranthi release, now that Baadshah and Naayak are out of the race. As Kona Venkat said, a small idea gave the spark for writing the story. Co-written by Gopi Mohan, the film has music by SS Thaman. On the occasion of releasing its first trailer on Oct 2, Venky and others spoke about the film and its various selling points.

Venky said that he was impressed when he was told that Shadow was the title. "Later on listening to the story, I felt even happier. It can entertain everyone from children to old people alike. The story shows me in a new light. Along with action, the movie is full of other emotions. Meher is executing the film with great dexterity", the Victory star averred.

Srikanth is also upbeat about Shadow. "This is my fourth film with Venkatesh. Besides action, there is drama in the movie", he remarked.

Tapsee Pannu says that she is looking more beautiful than ever in here.

The movie is already 70 per cent complete. The action scenes shot in Malaysia and Lankavi, the director says, will stand out for their newness.
