Director Kumar Nagendra is in for praise by his very satisfied producer Lakshmi Manchu. After all, shooting underwater for 40 days for a crucial episode of Gundello Godari was a monumental task for the direction and cinematography departments.
To make the film seem naturally rustic, a set resembling a rural settlement was erected in about 27 acres. About 200 huts were built for the shoot.
Currently in post-production, CG works form part of the film. Set in the backdrop of the catastrophic 'Divi Seema Uppena,' the film has music by Maestro Illayaraja.
"There are six songs in total. Five songs are similar in both the Telugu and Tamil versions. Sudeep, Tapsee and Adi Pinisetty never troubled us for remuneration because of their faith in my father," Lakshmi Manchu said.
