Brothers, featuring Suriya in the role of conjoined twins, has lot of hype around it. It is one of the most written-about films in Tamil, where it will hit the screens as Maatraan on Oct 12. Though producer Bellamkonda Suresh has insisted that the Telugu version (it is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, not a dubbed movie) for Diwali, Gnanavel Raja, the producer of Maatraan, wanted that both be released on the same day.

Suriya decided to dub for his character for the first time in Telugu. His challenging attitude has been praised by many, since it has been long since a Tamil hero dared to dub his own voice for Telugu version.

The world thought that Suriya has dubbed for both the 'Brothers.' However, it was revealed by him yesterday, while speaking at the audio launch ceremony of the film in Hyderabad, that the second character, played by himself, was giving dubbing by Karthi!
