Allari Naresh has had little overseas market. With Sudigaadu, he will have his first release in eight countries for the first time. Also, the movie would hit screens in Chennai and Mumbai as well.

The makers are planning the biggest ever release for a Naresh movie for the simple reason because they have lot of faith in the script. "The film has repeat value," its director says.

The movie is slated for Aug 24 release. A spoof on Telugu cinema of the last decade, it is only an adaptation, and not a remake, of Tamila Padam. "We retained only 30 per cent of the original," Sreenivas says. He watched a number of parodies before approaching the subject with a fresh perspective.

The director's last film, Annavaram, was released in 2006. For him, it is a challenge to be back in the business with a bang.
