Corporate Premier League, created on the lines of Indian Premier League, will be a grand T20 affair in which 18 IT companies will lock horns. To be held under the aegis of Sasha Sports, this spectacle will begin from July 7.

"Del, Airtel, Tata, Oracle, Hindu, Karvy, Blue-Dart, Sakshi, Cap Gemini, CSC, Bank of America, Polaris, Parexel, Thomson Reuters and other teams will play the matches. The series will begin from July 7 and end on August 25. Each team will play 5 mathces," the organisers said.

JD Chekravarthy was the chief guest at the function marked to formally launch the event. "I began my career as a cricketer. Later, I entered into the film industry. I am jobless now (jokingly). I wish that this series becomes a success."
