For Puri Jagannadh, story is the foremost. However, Devudu Chesina Manushulu is an exception. "I always begin with thinking about what the story should be. DCM is the result of what it would mean to make a film without a story," PJ said.

After writing a story (or something like that, but not exactly that?), he set to narrate it to Illeana. "The power was off. Without taking it as a bad omen, I continued to narrate the full film to her. She has given an excellent performance," the director said yesterday.

Illeana will be seen in a new hair-do. "For me, this is the fifth film with Ravi Teja. He is an energetic actor. Raghu Kunche is the first friend I had when I was new in Hyderabad. He has given amazing output."

The film's audio was released in a grand manner at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad.
