Eega is unarguably the most-awaited film of the year after Businessman and Gabbar Singh, in the months of January and May, respectively. D Suresh Babu, who is the film's presenter, is planning a mammoth release. "We will release the film in three languages (Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam) with 1200 prints. The Telugu version will be released in Karnataka with Kannada subtitles," he said yesterday.

What’s more, the film will be released in the North after some weeks. Titled as Naan Ee in Tamil and Eecha in Malayalam, Eega is gearing up to give tough competition to UKUP, Julayi, Shakuni, David Billa, Vishwaroopam among others.

Usually, we find that craze for a much-delayed movie dwindles with the passage of time. Eega is an exception. It was slated to release in the last week of April. Despite the undue delay, the film’s charm has not faded, thanks to Rajamouli’s track record.
