K Raghavendra Rao's Shirdi Sai is eagerly awaited by the fans of Nagarjuna, lovers of experimental cinema and devotees of the Mystic alike. The news is that this multi-crore film is slated for release on Sept. 6. This was stated by the makers themselves in Mantralayam, Kurnool, yesterday.

KRR and MM Keeravani were there in the temple town to do the musical sitting for the film's remaining last song. "It has been a tradition to compose tuning for at least one song from a Raghavendra Rao film," Keeravani stated. The director-musician duo had the darshan of Sri Raghavendra Swamy's Brindavan earlier.

A press meet was held later in the day. "The film's shooting is in its last leg. There are 11 songs in total," the director said.

The film is not about the life and miracles performed by Sai, as most might be thinking. As Nag stated in an interview, this is just the first 20 minutes of the film. "The rest you will have to watch on the big screen," he said.
