When RR Movie Makers is the presenter/producer, something novel could be safely assumed. Balakrishna-starrer Srimannarayana boasts of a novel idea. It sees the Yuva Ratna, who has always played muscular characters, in the role of a conscientious journalist out to bring a positive change in society through his writings.

Directed by Ravikumar Chavali, the movie is being produced by Ramesh Puppala. It has music by Chakri. Some crucial scenes have been shot at Ramoji Film City.

The makers say that the film hinges on the strength of the story. It is to be seen what journalistic endeavours will Balayya embark on in this piously-titled film. Three of the songs from the movie will be shot in Europe.
