At a time when multi-starrers are expected to catch everyone like cold, will Mahesh and Pawan too team up to do a multi-starrer? The first condition that a multi-starrer must fulfil is that two actors must be ready to work with each other. And, Mahesh is ready to work with Pawan. So, it seems, also Pawan, who has always maintained cordial relations with Mahesh since the days of Rajakumarudu. (Coming from someone as reticent and not given to socialise as Pawan, a bouquet from him when Mahesh had his first release must have touched the Prince – and touched it did).

In the following years, Pawan was seen throwing his weight behind Mahesh's solo fight against piracy when Arjun was released. Prince later thanked Power Star for standing behind him at the time.

In 2010 and 2011, Mahesh made it a point to use Twitter to wish Pawan, on behalf of Namrata and Gautham as well, a happy birthday on Sept. 2. Two times to two Telugu dailies, Mahesh hailed Pawan as a rocking star.

In a high-profile interview given to Allu Sirish's South Scope magazine in 2010, Mahesh said that he was game to do multi-starrers. His dream co-star? Pawan Kalyan. "Though I doubt if anyone would come up with a befitting story", the superstar-in-the-making said.

Mahesh is enamoured of Pawan's oratorical skills. He admires Pawan's personality and sees him as a kind human being.

The question is: Will someone cook a story for Pawan and Mahesh. Of course, it can't be a SVSC. It has to be a coming-of-age stylish flick. Any takers?
