Ajith's 50th film Mankatha (released as Gambler in Telugu in September 2011) made a clean sweep at the just concluded award ceremony in Singapore. This has put the film's director Venkat Prabhu on cloud nine, and he is all smiles about the honour.

"Mankatha dominates ITFA '11 @ Singapore!!! Best film, best director, best cinematographer, best supporting actor, best female singer!!!" wrote the Saroja director on his micro-blogging page.

Expressing gratitude to producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri and Ajith, Venkat Prabhu added: "Special thanks to Thala for his love and support for Mankatha!!!!" He has also thanked his brother and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja for his work in the film.

However, Ajith could not make it to the award ceremony as he was busy shooting for a film in the US.
