Marina comes to Telugu with a social message

Pandiraj's 'Marina' is all set to woo the audience in Andhra Pradesh. The film will be soon dubbed and released in Telugu, under the same title. "Because the issue dealt in the movie is universal and can be made in any language," sources close to the development say.

"A leading Tollywood producer has bagged the dubbing rights of Marina. Works are currently on and the Telugu version will be released soon. Pandiraj is happy that his film will reach a wider audience," add sources.

'Marina' happens to be the maiden production venture of 'Pasanga' fame Pandiraj, who won National Award for his very first film. Set in the backdrop of Marina beach, the movie spoke about the lives of children on the shores and the need to educate them.

Small screen star Siva Karthikeyan, 'Kalavani' fame Oviya, Pakada Pandi of 'Pasanga' played crucial roles in 'Marina', which had cameos by Vikram, Prakash Raj, Sasikumar, Ameer and Sneha. Today, the movie completes its 25th day in the box-office.
