Sorry, RGV, Mahesh is not ready to be fooled by what you said of him. He doesn’t think he is anywhere near to the great Amitabh. Asked for his reaction about RGV's (baffling) statement that Mahesh was the best in the country and was better than Big B, Mahesh told matter-of-factly that though the words were good to hear, he would be deluding himself if he believed what Varma said was true.

The actor has been hailed to the skies ever since the release of Businessman, but he has his feet firmly on the ground. Never the one to be bogged down by failure nor be carried away by rhetoric, he said that he doesn’t think of himself as an unparalleled star just by looking at the numbers.

Prince is not ready for remakes. In fact, he will not touch the masterpieces with a barge pole and risk spoiling their pristine glory even if a Mani Ratnam or a Shankar approached him, and will respectfully submit that he would not expect such kind of films from them. Neither is he ready to be cast in a James Bond-kinda role.

Only recently, he was unhappy that he could not grab the opportunity when Mani and Shankar had a role in their films for him but he did not have dates, because otherwise he would not have been able to do Businessman.
