The success meet of Bodyguard was held in Hyderabad today. Speaking at the press meet, director Gopichand Malineni attributed the film’s successful run to Venkatesh and his producer Bellamkonda Suresh. He also expressed satisfaction over the appreciation given to him by Sreenu Vytla and VV Vinayak. "The film is turning out to be the biggest hit in Venkatesh garu's career. Thaman's music, Shyam K Naidu's cinematography, Ram-Lakshman's fights and Kona Venkat's dialogues have also contributed to the final product."

Actress Saloni said that this is the first time that he was cast in a serious character. All along, she has only been playing chirpy roles. "I have learnt new nuances of acting by working with Venkatesh. He is a very patient person and a very good co-star. I have been complimented by my friends and family. The last 20 minutes of the film have been heart-touching. I thank the audience for giving us this hit."

The film is doing well in A, B and C centres. The film has been receiving universal appreciation, and the patronage of family audience has been its backbone.
