The makers had announced it on the day they kick-started the project that they will release the movie on Jan. 11. Make the things go as per the schedule is not a joke, especially when it is a multi-crore project involving a superstar, a star director and shooting in more than three locations.

Yet, The Businessman could be completed in 74 days. It has been shot on 84000 foot as planned. In a press release celebrating their achievement, the Puri Jagannadh has said, "Mahesh Babu worked for 65 days for this film. Kajal Agarwal participated in the shoot for 30 days. We could complete the shoot with the help of all the artistes and technicians in the scheduled time."

Mahesh play Sury in the film. Puri says that heroism has been taken to a new level in the movie. With the expectations from the film running at an all-time high, there was a huge responsibility on the creative director.

The first look released on Nov. 11 and the first trailer released on Dec. 9, have received extraordinary response. The audio will be released on Dec. 22 in three languages – Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
