If ever someone is interested in remaking Gladiator in Telugu, which is highly improbable, Nani would like to do the lead role in the movie. The wannabe director, who feels that it would be a death knell if one was satisfied with his performance, says that his current focus is entirely on acting. Nani will want to become a director only after he derives maximum contentment from being an actor.

The stubble-faced actor, who unexpectedly turned into a hero with Ashta Chamma, had been an assistant director till then. He says that though he never wanted to expand his market, it has just happened. Since there has always been a market for parallel films in Tamil, he is fulfilling his desire to be seen in such offbeat films by dabbling with Kollywood.

Ala Modalaindi has done well when dubbed and released in Malayalam. A big fan of Bapu, he says that he wants to see him making films forever. Looks like he has thoroughly enjoyed Bapu's Sri Rama Rajyam.
