Long ago, Dil Raju had produced a film 'Bommarillu' on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations in which Siddhartha played the hero and it was a runaway hit. In fact, the film had created a separate trend of its own.

After a long gap, the hero and the producer are teaming up again for a film titled 'Oh My Friend' introducing Venu Sriram as director.

The shooting of the film was complete by 50 per cent and is presently shooting at Alleppy in Kerala. The schedule would continue for few more days.

Shruti Haasan who paired up with Siddhartha in 'Anaganaga O Dhirudu', a socio fantasy film earlier, is again teaming up with the hero for the second time, while Hansika is playing another important role.

The film is based on a urban love story and the producer is making efforts to release the film as a Dasara gift.
