Perhaps for the first time in the history of the Telugu cinema, a hero is playing in two films with similar backdrop, that too simultaneously. Naga Chaitanya had agreed to play hero in 'Bejawada Rowdylu' to be directed by Vivek Krishna, a protege of Ram Gopal Varma and produced by RGV himself with rowdysim in Vijayawada in its backdrop.

At the same time, Deva Katta, an NRI director, who had earlier brought out big hits like 'Veenela' and 'Prasthanam', had announced that he is also making a film with a similar theme and again roped in Naga Chaitanya in the lead role for 'Autonagar Surya'.

The film is being produced by K Achireddy on the banner of Max India Productions, Either Kajal or Samantha would share the screen with Chaitu in this action-packed movie.

The producer is making efforts to begin the shooting in July and release the film in February next year.
