A gossip made rounds in the Film Nagar that Kajal Agarwal had agreed to do a special song in SS Rajamouli’s latest film 'Eega' and it would be a highlight of the film.

However, Rajamouli refuted those gossips and made it clear that 'Eega' was an experimental film with an animated character of a housefly is playing the title role. Though the film also had some live characters, the director took it as a challenge to make a successful film without any top artistes with established image.

In a post on the Twitter, Rajamouli says, ‘There is no truth in the rumour that Kajal is doing an item number in Eega. There are no item songs in 'Eega'. It is a baseless rumour.'

Nani and Samanta are playing the lead roles and Sudeep is playing a negative role in this film which is being made with a whopping budget with a major share of funds allocated for special effects.
