Among all the directors of the present generation, the most successful director is SS Rajamouli. Almost all his films were successful. While some are blockbusters, some remained hits and at the most they run at above average level so far.

Now, this talented director is experimenting with a film titled ‘Eega’ with live and animated characters. Nani and Samantha are playing the lead roles and Kannada artiste Sudeep is playing a negative role.

It is learnt that a special Scorpio crane was summoned exclusively for the shooting of the film.

Presently the technical crew was shooting some difficult scenes in the film involving he animated character, the housefly. It is a surprise that Rajamouli, while penning the script, pre-visualises the scene, but when it comes to the actual shooting, he found it very difficult to mould the celluloid with what was in his mind.

In fact, such films would have more appeal if they were shot in 3D or 2D format. But the budget constraints forced him to restrict it to a regular format.

The film is being made as a bilingual with the Telugu and Tamil versions being shot simultaneously with Senthil wielding the camera and Keeravani scoring music for the flick.
