Time and again Daggubati Rana claimed that Puri Jagannath had narrated him an original story and he was impressed with it and agreed to do ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’.

As was claimed by Rana, the story of the film came from the thoughts of the director and was not with the inspiration of any foreign movie. However, a film with almost similar nature was released in Hollywood with the title ‘Kill Me Later’ somewhere during 2001.

It is a surprise that the hero of the film is a professional killer and the heroine had the suicide tendency. Whether it is a sheer coincidence or whether Puri may have seen it and drew inspiration from it, definitely those who had the habit of watching Hollywood films would definitely compare Nenu Naa Rakshasi with it.

The film is all set to hit the screens across the world on April 29.

Another interesting revelation is that the film had no lip- lock scenes, but the director who made a photo shoot for the publicity designs is trying to attract the people with a lip-lock photograph involving Rana and Ileana.
