Rana, Ileana starrer ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ directed by Puri Jagnnath and produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions had completed its shooting and post-production formalities long ago and the release date continues to be postponed again and again.

The producer however announced that the film would hit the screen on April 29. Surprisingly, Naga Chaitanya’s film ‘100% Love’ was also expected to be released on the same day.

Being Rana the brother- in-law of Chaitu, he reportedly pleaded with the producer Bunny Vasu and director Sukumar to reschedule the release date to avoid clash with him.

At the same time, there is a gentleman agreement among the producers that no two big heroes’ films should be released on the same day as it would eat into the profits of each other.

Geeta Arts reportedly gave way to Rana and postponed its release to the first week of May. However, there is no official confirmation about the postponement so far.
