Made with a social message on the victimisation of fishermen by corporate companies, 'Gangaputrulu' is a message oriented movie. This flick will release in theatres on March 25th. We hear this movie has been selected for Riverside International Film Festival to be held at California between April 8th and April 17th.

Shravya films and K B R Productions banners are jointly producing this movie. Y Ravindrababu and Kishori Basireddy are producers. P Sunil Kumar Reddy is the director.

The producers made 'Sonthavooru' earlier.It starred Raja and L B Sriram. The movie was well appreciated for highlighting the plight of a community due to upcoming SEZ. It also was screened in a lot of film festivals.
