Nandamuri Balakrishna gave a word to Meher Ramesh that he would do a film with him. Meher Ramesh directed NTR for ‘Kantri’ earlier and is presently doing ‘Shakti’ with the same hero.

The film, with a socio-fantasy backdrop is being made with a whopping budget of Rs 45 crore and huge sets were erected for the film. Moreover, the film had bagged a record of shooting in the highest number of locations.

Now, Meher Ramesh got an opportunity to direct Balakrishna. However, the film would go to sets, once Balayya completes the shooting of Srirama Rajyam and another film under Paruchuri Murali’s direction.

After these two projects, the film with Meher Ramesh as director would go to sets.
