MAA TV, one of the leading entertainment channels in the state has launched two new channels. Named MAA Junior and MAA movies, MAA TV network now has four channels in its base.

Actor Nagarjuna who is the promoter and director of MAA TV and his entire family, Mohanbabu and his daughter Laxmi, another promoter Allu Aravind and a lot of other film personalities from Telugu tinsel town were present at the launch of these two new channels on Friday evening in Hyderabad.There was an after launch party which was well attended by a lot of high profile socialites, politicians and bureaucrats too. Nimmgadda Prasad the chairman of MAA TV presided the event.

Following the launch of two new channels, Chiranjeevi's son Ramcharan has joined the board of directors of MAA Television network limited.

MAA Movies will be a 24 hour movie channel that will telecast wide range of films that MAA network has bought over the years. MAA Junior will be the first ever Telugu channel meant to entertain kids. This channel will have animation shows, quiz programmes, education shows for pre school kids.
