Sharwanand, Saikumar and Sundeep Kishan starrer 'Prasthanam' that released in 2010 attained cult status for its making, dialogues, intense performances and honest attempt. It even won accolades at Goa Film Festival and took pride of the place in the gamut of Indian cinema.Critics called the film a Cult and master piece.
Deva Katta's popularity rose to new heights after the film released though it was a damp squib commercially. Now we hear he is going to make the film in Tamil too. Though the star cast is undecided yet, he is believed to have been contacted by a producer this Sunday to make this film in Kollywood too. Deva himself leaked this information to his fans on a social networking site.Interestingly, the rumours of him directing 'Prasthanam' in Tamil existed since the past few months.
However, he clarified that he will make 'Prasthanam' in Tamil only after his next project 'Autonagar Surya' completes its shoot.
"Sorry about the confusion. Will be doing Tamil Prasthanam only after Surya. Was just excited when I was offered the job in Tamil yesterday" he tweeted.
