After the launch of Naga Chaitanya as hero, Nagarjuna had decided to do experimental subjects for a difference instead of going for routine commercial formula films. Even before taking this decision, Nag used to do something different and his idea to experiment with films came in the form of ‘Annamayya’ and ‘Sri Ramadasu’ earned critical acclaim.

However, he played hero in a mass masala flick titled ‘Ragada’ and it was a hit last year. He worked for a film titled ‘Gaganam’ produced by Dil Raju on the banner of Matinee Entertainments. Though the film is ready in all respects, Dil Raju’s commercial thinking is resulting in the delay of its release.

However, Nagarjuna is optimistic about the commercial success of the film and says he was planning to try different subjects if the audiences receive ‘Gaganam’ in a positive way and make it a hit.
