Megapower Star Ramcharan Tej celebrated Christmas in rather novel way. He went to Shantinagar near Kokapet in the city and distributed wollen wear and clothes to poor people in the colony.His mother and wife of Chiranjeevi Surekha too accompanied him to the colony.

He informed that on his recent visit to Shantinagar he saw the people there and decided to do something for them. Since the city is shivering due to dip in temperature, he decided to give them wollen wear on Christmas.

"Each of us should do whatever little we can to our neighbours in society. It is important for each of us to contribute to making little difference to the lives of others in society" Ram Charan said.

He cut the cake with the people in the colony, distributed shawls,posed for pictures and left the venue.
