Ram in a recent post on Twitter tweeted that they did not steal the title ‘Kandireega’ but officially took permission from Krishnavamsi to utilize the title after meeting him personally.

Ram says, ‘Krishnavamsi gave the title after complimenting me for making use of the title for my film and wished the film all the best, and gave us the title officially’.

Hansika and Swati are playing the female leads opposite Ram and Nisha Agarwal is also expected to share the screen in this movie.

Ram says, ‘After my recent film ‘Rama Rama Krishna Krishna’, several directors and writers narrated me stories and all of them have resemblances of some or the other films. However, the story of ‘Kandireega’ looked different and impressed me. Hence I okayed the subject.’

Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the film on the banner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions Pvt Ltd introducing Santhosh Srinivas as the director.
