Venu Sriram debut titled ‘Oh My Friend’

Venu Sriram is making his debut as a director for a film which is being produced by Dil Raju starring Siddharth as hero. The film was titled ‘Oh My Friend’.

Venu Sriram was associated with several films produced by Dil Raju worked as an associate director with several directors like Bhaskar, Sukumar, Srikanth Addala and Vamsi Paidipalli.

Venu narrated a storyline and Dil Raju was impressed with it and asked him to develop the script. Even before the script is ready, Dil Raju had announced the film in Venu’s direction.

The highlight of the film would be the music by Rahul Raj, who scored music for a Malayalam flick ‘Rithu’, which won Kerala state award in 2010.

Sources close to Venu say, ‘The movie deals with friendship and most of the incidents were straight lift from the real life incidents in the director’s student life. The film would go to sets in January.
