Venkatesh appears to have been banking on remakes mostly these days. His film ‘Nagavalli’, the sequel to ‘Chandramukhi’ is the remake of ‘Apta Rakshaka’ is presently in progress now.

Now the latest buzz is that Venkatesh reportedly gave his consent for the remake of a Malayalam film ‘Bodyguard’. Dilip and Nayanatara played the lead roles in the original and the film did good business there. The same is again being remade in Tamil with Vijay and Asin in the lead and is scheduled for release later this year.

Director Siddique is craving to remake the film in Telugu with Venkatesh as hero and Trisha is being consulted for the heroine.

It is no surprise that the film is being considered for remake in Hindi too with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor as lead artistes.
