Ramgopal Varma, the sensational director was in Hyderabad to promote his new movie ÂRakta CharitraÂ. The director called upon a press meet and spoke about his favourite movie.
Talking at the Prasad Labs along with producer C Kalyan and Vivek Oberoi, director Ramgopal Varma whoÂs initials RGV are so popular now confirmed the release date of the movie as 22nd October, thatÂs come Friday.
RGV went on to say that everyone would have his or her own expectations over the movie but itÂs a multidimensional movie where one canÂt really point out who the hero or the villain is. The director made it clear that if seen from one angle, one would be shown as a villain and if seen in another light the same character might look like a hero.
And taking a safe stand before the release of the movie, the director said he made this movie in account of people who know about the real life story of Paritala Ravi and Suri. However he said, he wasnÂt sure if the people who he listened to told the truth. Making it clear, RGV said what he shot was not true and a mere fictional story that he assumes to be true.
Beautiful songs, good dose of comedy, family sentiments, colourful clothes and every other entertaining detail will not be part of this movie and all those points were straight from the directorÂs mouth! RGV also praised his hero Vivek Oberoi for doing the role of Prathap Ravi with high emotions. In fact while deciding who would suit the character, RGV was struck with VivekÂs name, apparently.
RGV concluded his talk saying that ÂRaktha Charithra is a complete faction movie. He and his team would watch the movie in Anantapur as a bond had been established with the region.
Also who spoke at the press meet was C Kalyan, the presenter of the movie. He felt privileged to be the presenter of this movie that has been inspired by real life story.
