The Filmfare Awards for 2009 are here! The nominees were announced last evening in Hyderabad for Telugu cinema.

And the nominees for the best actor are,

Padma Shri Kamal Haasan for his stellar performance in ‘Eenadu’;

Stylish Star Allu Arjun for his chirpy performance in Sukumar’s ‘Arya 2’;

The tall handsome hunk, Young Rebel Star Prabhas for his candid performance in Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Ek Niranjan’;

Not to forget Ram Charan for his performance in ‘Magadheera’, a totally career changing movie by Rajamouli;

and finally the crazy performance of Ravi Teja in ‘Kick’, no offence but Ravi Teja was his energetic and convivial best in that movie!

The nominations are out…and only three weeks left to see who’ll carry the black lady with them! Interestingly cousins Allu Arjun and Ram Charan compete with each other while veteran actor and living legend Kamal Hassan competes with actors aged less than his experience!
