Genelia has signed a new Malayalam movie and that marks her entry into Malayalam cinema. With this the bubbly actress has set her foot in all the four languages in South India.

Her new Malayalam movie is directed by ace Indian cinematographer Santosh Sivan. Titled as ‘Urumi’, the movie will have Prithvi Raj as the hero who worked in ‘Police Police’ before. Prithvi is a happening star in Malayalam with at least one release every month.

The movie is apparently set in the 15th century with Genelia playing the role of a Portuguese princess. Genelia has always been an intelligent actress when it comes to choosing her characters. She’s made a perfect choice and will make a grand entry in Mollywood.

Genelia is not new to Kerala audience. Tamil and Hindi movies are released in Kerala where the reception is huge. So now that she will be seen in her first straight Malayalam movie, Genelia will have her fan base increased!
