Respecting the decision taken by the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, actor Dr.Rajendra Prasad has rejected the IIFA invitation sent to him.

He is the only Telugu actor who has been invited for the International Indian Film Awards at Colombo for 2010. Even last year Rajendra Prasad was invited as he was one of the actors nominated for ‘Best Actor’ for his performance in ‘Quickgun Murugan’.

Declining the invitation, Rajendra Prasad said that the IIFA only had awards for Hindi films and not for any other language. He was with the south Indian film industry and he respected the unanimous decision taken by the producers council of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

There have been so many actors who have boycotted the awards including Namitha and Genelia.
