Following an advice given to actor Balakrishna by his doctor who worked on a minor surgery to his leg yesterday, it has been decided by he will not take part in shooting for the coming 15-20 days. Thus, Simha's release has been postponed and it will release only in the month of May.

The shooting had almost been completed except for two songs, one of which was planned to be wrapped up in Mysore. However, during the shoot the actor reportedly broke his leg, following which a surgery has been performed.

The other song was planned to be shot in a foreign country. However, the schedule has been put on hold until Balakrishna is in a position to work.

The film was earlier scheduled for a release on April 16.

Meanwhile, the audio will release on the scheduled date, which is April 9.
