At the educational institution founded by Mohan Babu, Maestro Illayaraj performed a musical concert, along with 32 other violinists. The event was attended by K Raghavendra Rao, litterateur Y. Lakshmi Prasad, former Chief Minister N Janardhan Reddy and other VIPs.

Drowning the over 2000-odd people present there in musical bliss, Illayaraja, speaking later, humbly said that one was an eternal student of music.

Mohan Babu fittingly called the celebrated musician, the pride of the nation. At the event, many speakers appreciated the efforts of Mr. Babu to provide free education to the poor, in his institution.

As the Chairman-founder of the education institution at Thirupathi, the actor-producer has reserved a portion of the seats for the poor.
