After the rife speculation that Samantha will be paired opposite Mahesh Babu, in the hero's film with Sreenu Vaitla, the same has come very true. The new movie, to be produced by 14 Reels Entertainments, will go on the floors on the 26th of this month.

Manjula, in a recent interview, showed that she was seriously considering to cast the girl opposite Mahesh.

After the likes of Trisha and Illeana, Samantha is one heroine who has bagged a big ticket film with no less a superstar than Mahesh, even in her second outing.

This is definitely a big boost to her career, the prospects of which seem very bright. Meanwhile, she is gearing up for her first Tamil release.
