For once, Hansika Motwani is all set to be seen as a guest appearance in a soap opera, titled Bidaai, telecast on Star Plus, Monday through Friday. The actress, whose first stint was with television, is doing a guest appearance this time.

The popular soap, a tale about two sisters, has cast the actress in the role a Chief Guest at a dance show, in which a prime character participates. So, how does she feel to be on television, albeit for a brief run time? Must be feeling great.

The buzz is that she has actually replaced none other than Deepika Padukone who was originally considered for the role by the producers. As the top flight actress has been too engaged with promotional activity of her forthcoming Karthik Calling Karthik, she could not accept the serial.

The role, consequentially, got into Hansika's lap. The actress, who is quite busy on the big screen, has come a long way since her Kisme Kitna Hain Dhum days, in which she used to be a participant, to being a chief guest on a soap telecast in the same channel as KKHD.
