Many years after he made a glorious entry in Bollywood with the famous Rang De Basanthi, Siddharth is all set to strike big this time, with a good project titled Striker. Directed by Chandan Arora, the film is sure to bring him good luck because it seems it has a great potential to rule the box office. Going by the storyline, it seems it has Siddharth playing a well-written character Suryakanth, while he will cross paths with a wily Adithya Pancholi playing Jaleel.

Also starring in the film are Anupam Kher, Ankur Vikal (of SDM fame) and Seema Biswas. Padmapriya is cast opposite him. The film is about the game of carrom and is set in the 1980s, in the maximum city of Mumbai.

The film's greatest assets seem to be background score and music composed by the likes of Vishal Baradwaj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Amith Trivedi (Dev D, Wake Up Sid) and others.

Set for a February 5 release, the film will be quite important for Siddharth, who can hope to juggle Tolly and Bolly, if this film strikes gold.

The film is produced by Chandan Arora, who has also written it, besides directing it.
