Legendary director K. Raghavendra Rao's writer-director son Prakash Kovelamudi is turning into a mainstream film director (if what his earlier work A Bellyful Of Dreams should be classed as an arthouse film) this year. Yet-to-be-titled, the film will star Siddharth and Shruthi Haasan (who also debuted as music director with her father Kamal Hassan's film Eenadu) in the lead.
The announcement was made recenty at Ramoji Film City and the shoot is going to commence very soon. Branding it as a fantasy film, the makers hoped that it will set a new standard for Telugu films. It is to be remembered that Raghavendra Rao's fantasy flick Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari is a milestone. Baby Shreya Sharma, a popular child artiste (Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag) will play a major role in the film.
Also present on the occasion were Rajamouli and Gamyam Krish, apart from unit memebers. Mickey J Meyer is the music director and veteran J K Bharavi and Ramesh Somala will write the dialogue.
Director Prakash said, "This film will set the audience to fly in a world of dreams. Siddhartha will be seen in a new role. Shruthi's role is going to be exiciting."
Siddhartha said, "Prakash is a young lad who has a good strategy and works with a dedicated spirit... I hope the film will bring immense recognition to me."
