New generation director Ravi Babu has obtained the rights of the Bollywood thriller “13 B” starring Madhavan and Neethu Chandra to remake it into Telugu.

Though it did not do well at the Box Office, the storyline and the directorial techniques of Vikram K Kumar were acclaimed by the audience. Even the collection part of it too was poor for 13 B. But Ravi Babu, who has earned a name in the Tollywood for making films that are close to the hearts of the younger generation, has obtained the rights to remake this into Telugu, Tollywood sources told Indiaglitz here on Thursday.

He has already tasted successes like “Allari”, Soggadu, “Ammayilu Abbaiyulu” and two more hits. “Anasuya” with Bhoomika in the lead role and Ushan Kiron Movies film “Nachachavule” are in his kitty as big hits. “He now wants to make a hatrick with this remake of “13 B”,” the sources explained.

Ravi Babu has already got two titles, “Agent Gopi” and “Amaravathi”, registered. He may begin finalizing the star cast soon for one of these movies, the sources added.
