Youngest daughter of the actor couple Vijayakumar and Manjula, Sridevi has got engaged and will get married within a matter of few months.

She entered filmdom as a child artist with ‘Rukmini’ directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty and later became a heroine starring with Prabhas in ‘Eeshwar’.

Sridevi has acted some of Telugu and Tamil films including ‘Ninne Ishtapaddanu’, ‘Kadhal Virus’, ‘Devadhaiyai Kandaen’, ‘Priyamani Thozhi’ (Tamil) with ‘Manjeera’ being the last.

Heroines happily get married to the foreign bride grooms at first but later we will seen them coming back again on screen in character roles. But, Sridevi has decided against this trend and wants to be a homemaker. She said, “I don’t want to become a star again which might interrupt my life. I wish to be at home mostly as I love being in the scenario. I want to look after my family first.”

Well said, Sridevi. But, we have seen a lot of such rebuffing remarks but after marriage most of them will be back to the silver screen. We should wait for sometime to see if Sridevi sticks to her words.
