It is reliably learnt that the shooting of 'Ranga Panduranga' directed and produced by K Raghavendra Rao on the banner of RK Associates, with Yuva Ratna Nandamuri Balakrishna as hero, Sneha, Priyamani, Parvathi Melton and Archana as heroines, would be launched on September 15, the Vinayaka Chaturthi day.

It may be mentioned here that the film is being made with an inspiration from the late NTR's all-time classic 'Panduranga Mahatmyam'.

While JK Bharavi penned the script, MM Keeravani is providing melodious tunes for the flick.

It is worth mentioning here that two songs in 'Panduranga Mahatmyam' namely 'Jaya Krishna Mukunda Murari' and 'Amma Ani Pilichinaa Aalakinchavemamma' would remain alive as long as there are Telugu films.

There is no need for the particular mention about NTR's performance and the directorial abilities of the movie.

Scoring music on par with that film is definitely a Herculean task for Keeravani and the same comment could be attributed to Balakrishna and the director.

One had to wait and watch till the completion of the shooting, post-production and release of the film to give a judgment on this latest flick.
