Shooting of 'Bheema' directed by popular Tamil director Lingu Swamy and produced by AM Ratnam on the banner of Sri Surya Movies with National Best Artiste award winner Vikram as hero and Nandi award winner Trisha as heroine was complete.

The film reportedly has the backdrop of mafia.

Director Linguswamy says, 'The songs choreographed in Switzerland, New Zealand, and the palatial palaces of Madurai Kings would remain a highlight. We wrapped up the shooting recently and the post-production works are in progress. This is the latest film in the combination of Vikram and Trisha after 'Saami'. The film not only has the action, but also different other elements including romance and sentiment. Harris Jayaraj gave fantastic tunes for all the songs.'
