The shooting of 'Shankar Dada Zindabad' directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Ravishankar and Gemini Kiran on the banner of Gemini Film Circuits with Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi as hero and introducing Karishma Kotak as heroine is progressing well in Hyderabad.

Some main scenes are being shot involving Chiranjeevi, Karishma Kotak and some other senior artistes. Canning of two songs was also completed. The unit is about to leave for Australia for canning of the remaining songs.

It may be recalled here that the film is the remake of a successful Bollywood film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' and as a sequel to 'Shankar Dada MBBS'. The basic theme of the film is that Gandhism is better than rowdyism.

Devisri Prasad is scoring music for the flick.

Srikant is playing the role of ATM in the movie, while Pawan Kalyan and Sada are appearing in some key roles. It was said that the film would be a bigger hit than 'Shankar Dada MBBS'.

Already there was a lot craze over the film and it is making a good business. It is reliably learnt that the audio would be launched in the first week of June through Aditya Music.
