Shooting of 'Okka Magaadu' directed and produced by YVS Choudary on the banner of Bommarillu with Yuva Ratna Balakrishna as hero and Anushka and Nisha Kothari as heroines is progressing near Rajahmundry and its surrounding areas.

Presently some action scenes are being choreographed there. Almost all the important scenes in the film were shot here itself. It is reliably learnt that the story of the film was prepared with the inspiration of the life history of the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and the character of Balakrishna was developed on those lines.

The speciality of the film is that Simran is pairing up with Balakrishna again after blockbusters like Samarasimha Reddy and Narasimha Naidu. It is learnt that Simran's character was also etched in a different dimension.

The film had fantastic tunes scored by Manisharma.

The director cum producer is planning to release the film in September.
