The shooting of 'Okka Magaadu' directed and produced by YVS Choudary on the banner of Bommarillu with Yuva Ratna Balakrishna, Anushka and Nisha Kothari as hero and heroines, with Simran in a lead role is progressing in Hyderabad.

Simran, who paired up with Balakrishna in blockbusters like 'Samarasimha Reddy and Narasimha Naidu' took a break and is away from films after her marriage.

Though she had announced that she would return to movies, she did not act in any films so far.

Very recently, she involved in 'Okka Magaadu' shooting. Some key scenes are being shot now on Balakrishna and Simran.

The film which is said to be running with politics in its backdrop, has tunes from Manisharma, while Posani Krishnamurali had scripted screenplay.

After completing all the formalities, the producer cum director is planning to release the film in September.
